Disable write protection In SD Card Or Pen Drive using command line (CMD)

Here are the steps:

1. Connect your write protected SD card to your computer.
2. Right Click on Start. Click Command Prompt (Admin). Click Yes in the UAC message.
3. Type diskpart and hit Enter.
4. Type list disk and hit Enter. Here, you’ll be able to see a list of storage media connected to your computer like your internal hard drive, SSD, pen drive, or SD card via an adapter.
5. Type select disk <number of your disk>. Example, select disk 1 in my case. Make sure you enter the number correctly and don’t end up changing the attributes of your internal hard drive or any other storage media.
6. Type attributes disk clear readonly and press Enter.
7. Type exit and press Enter to get out of the diskpart utility. Type exit and press Enter again to get out of the command line.

Now you’re done with disabling write protection in your pen drive or SD card. Windows will be able to copy files and folders to your SD card.

Disable Write Protection by formatting the SD card or pen drive

If the command line methods don’t work and you can format the SD card and get rid of write protection. Here are the steps:

1. Connect the SD card or Pen drive to your computer.
2. Open My Computer/This PC.
3. Right Click on your SD card/pen drive and click Format in the drop-down menu.
4. Click Restore device defaults in the next window.
5. Click Start.
6. Click Ok the warning message.

The format process will take a few moments. After this, you’ll be able to use your SD card normally.

Chris Hardwick and Lydia Hearst Are Married

The comedian and his longtime girlfriend tied the knot on Saturday evening in front of their closest family and friends, People confirms. 

Close to 450 guests watched the couple exchange vows during a Walking Dead-themed wedding in Pasadena, Calif. The bride wore a custom-designed Christian Siriano gown while Hardwick donned a custom Prada suit. 

Ahead of their nuptials, Hardwick couldn't contain his excitement, posting an adorable photo of the pair sharing a sweet smooch during their wedding rehearsals. A snapshot shared by Hearst confirmed the two would wed on August 20, complete with an H-squared graphic preceded by a cartoon drawing of the couple as zombies.

After all, Chris isn't known by his fans as the Nerdist for nothing, right?!

Chris and Lydia's special day wouldn't be complete without a philanthropic twist, as the couple opted to forgo the traditional wedding registry and instead asked their guests to donate to a number of charities.

Hardwick wrote online, "[Lydia] and I are incredibly fortunate people and didn't feel right taking gifts from anyone so our wedding registry instead is a menu of five wonderful charities that we asked our guests to pick any or all of to make a donation toward," adding, "If you're feeling generous and able, this support of others is the best way to support us on our magical day! No matter what, we appreciate you!!!"

The well-deserving causes they hope to fundraise for include St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Operation Smile, GLAAD, Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation and the Best Friends Animal Society. 

A week before their wedding, Lydia posed for an ethereal photo sporting her Christian Siriano-designed gown with a sweet message for her now-husband. "I am truly blessed to have you in my life @hardwick. I love you, and I will never stop loving you. I cannot wait to marry you in one week," she wrote. 

Hardwick proposed last September after he picked up an Emmy for Best Creative Achievement in Interactive Media for his show @Midnight With Chris Hardwick. Congratulations, you two!

Ten die in Indonesian boat capsize

At least 10 people have died and five are missing after a boat sank while taking tourists from Tanjung Pinang to Penyengat Island in Indonesia's Riau Islands province.

The boat was transporting 17 passengers, including a boat operator and two children, when high waves and strong winds caused the boat to capsize in the waters off Penyengat Island, said Sutopo Purwo Nugroho, a spokesman for the National Disaster Mitigation Agency.

"Joint search and rescue team have found 12 passengers, 10 of whom died and two were injured. The team is still searching for the remaining five passengers who are missing," Nugroho said.

He added after the boat capsized, some passengers swam to their rescue or were fished out of the water by nearby boats, while some of them who couldn't swim were swept away by the waves and died.

The National Search and Rescue Agency has deployed 200 personnel, 20 search and rescue boats and 50 wooden passenger boats to scour the waters for the missing passengers, as well as marines who are diving to find drowned passengers.

"The main obstacle now is the strong current," Nugroho said.

Five found dead in Alabama house

It may take investigators days to untangle a grisly murder scene at a southern Alabama house where five adults, including one pregnant female, have been found murdered, authorities say.

Police said the victims were found on Saturday afternoon inside the residence located in the city of Citronelle. A four-month-old infant also was found alive at the home.

Authorities were still working to identify the bodies and notify relatives, Capt Paul Burch of the Mobile County Sheriff's Office told reporters early Sunday.

"Given the way the scene looks, we're going to be here a couple of days," Burch said. "It's obviously a horrific scene."

Mobile County District Attorney Ashley Rich told Al.com that the crime scene where five people were "brutally and viciously murdered" was the worst she'd seen in 20 years as a prosecutor.

Burch said suspect Derrick Dearman of Leakesville was taken into custody after he walked into the Greene County Sheriff's Office and confessed to the crimes. Burch said he expects Dearman to face five or six counts of capital murder.

"Sad to say, one of the females was about five months pregnant," Burch said.

Burch and Rich revealed few specifics of the scene, but said it was clear that firearms and at least one other type of weapon had been used. Burch said that it wasn't immediately clear whether the victims had been attacked while sleeping or had engaged in a prolonged struggle.

It appeared events began unfolding in the early hours of Saturday after residents of the house called 911 to report a trespasser. Burch said it was his understanding that during the call Dearman had been identified as the trespasser.

It appeared the murders had taken place later Saturday morning.

“It means that I can have all of my four kids and then still get back to shape and come back to what I love to do. So I am not going to say things like, ‘I don’t want to have kids yet’ or ‘I am not going to get married and I want to keep acting because the young shall always grow’, you are not going to be number one forever. That is why when it is time for you to do something, you do it. Yoruba will always say in their prayers that when the time for a child to talk has come, by the grace of God, she will talk. When it’s time to go to school, he will go to school. That’s what I’m trying to do. I want to define my life in a way my daughter will want to define her own life,” she said.

he further explained how she has been able to joggle her career, motherhood and marriage.

“I think what has got me this far is placing my decisions on a scale of preference. I love what I do, I adore my husband, I adore my kids, so every time I have to make a decision, I pick which is more important, and I start from there. I understand the home front is more important so I manage my home and create time to do what I have to do. I think that has helped me get this far,” she said.

It’s Good Night To PDP – Obasanjo

Former President Olusegun Obasanjo who terminated his membership of PDP in February last year on Friday bade the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) good night, saying he will not return to the party.

Obasanjo spoke to journalists in Jalingo, Taraba, while assessing some projects initiated by his administration in the state.

Speaking on the lingering crisis in the party which now has two national chairmen, Obasanjo said he had already bade PDP good night and cannot return to say good evening.

“In the part of the country where I come from, there is a saying that you cannot say ‘good night’ and come back to say ‘good evening’ in the same place.

“So for me, it is good night for the Peoples Democratic Party and that’s all,” he said.

He expressed confidence that President Muhammadu Buhari will surmount the present challenges confronting the country.

“So far Buhari has not disappointed us. I trust him (Buhari), he will not fail Nigerians. I know he will overcome the challenges the country is currently facing,” the ex-President added.
